"Emerald City" TV series

LOVED-LOVED this show. Based not-at-all on the 1930's musical, and is a fresh new take on the original 1900's book series.
 Gorgeous set design, very artistic clothing, surreal-art-photo-esque arrangements of the cinematography, landscapes, buildings reminiscent of "The Cell" also with Vincent D'Onofrio.  NOT TO MENTION the absolute gorgeous men in the show, and also the very strong wonderful characters of the women in the show.  Very good writing with some real thinking going into the characters and plot.  Beautiful photography!
Look for  stunning shots of Ugandan-German actress Florence Kasumba/"Witch of the East", with an amazing red silk dress like tentacles flying around. Or Mido Hamada, another stunning Egyptian actor portraying the Lion, who needs his chance to find his courage.  Or Oliver Jackson-Cohen, (gorgeous!!) portraying a soldier with memory loss and/or PTSD, who needs his chance to recover his "brain".  And Dorothy, where exactly WILL home be for her?
And WHO is Dorothy and WHAT will she become?

I'm absolutely heartbroken that there is not more coming.    This could have been regular TV's approach to Game of Thrones, including the quality.

Loved Feverborn, every minute, it sped by too quickly.  Now I have to find a new series that is as delicious as this one to entertain me until the next book comes out.
What's going on:  Dani/Jada continues to acclimate to life back amongst the drama of other people, as well as the problems of other people are having to accepting her back.    Lor & Jo's relationship continues to be hilarious, and Jo is brilliant in playing him. The sizzle surrounding Jada and the various men chasing her is hilarious.
Cliffhangers:  

• Will Mac be rescue-able?  (Well, obviously yes, eventually, but it'll be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and hopefully take a good long time, or multiple books.)
• Who will Rescue her? Mac herself, Barrons, Fae King, Cruce, Fae Queen, Jada?
• Fixing the Damage--Who will fix her even if they get her back?  She'll most likely be insane and incredibly dangerous.
• Dageus--can he be helped at all in his wife's, Chloe's, lifetime, and how long will she be in absolute misery?  How long will the Nine let her dangle before she self-destructs or ??
• What about the rest of the Keltar?  They are too useful & vital to be left mortal.
• Christian--I doubt his transformation is complete, and where will it go?  Will the temptations of Fae power be too much?  Will he stay mostly Keltar? 
• Cruce/V'Lane--he doesn't look crazy like he "ought to be" after absorbing the Ultimate in Evil books.  Therefore, will he be useful later?
• Alina--will she be left heartbroken after losing her Darroc?  Will Darroc stay dead after all the immortal Fae flesh he ate?  Would he prove too useful to whomever and be resurrected?  Mac had wondered if he might have positive-potential due to a loving influence from Alina and potential children.

Cliffhangers, Mind-Vacations, and Chemical-Free Mood-Boosters:   There's a reason people choose to read literature vs dictionaries--they want something to take their mind off their troubles, and usually they want to contemplate favorite characters & book-worlds longer than the justice a cheesy one-book-Happy-Ending would provide to the characters and readers.  Most people would want to make the most of a favorite book-world, so pumping up side stories & characters will stretch out the joy and deliciousness.   The role of the cliffhanger:  it maximizes the "mind-vacation" qualities of contemplation, worry, joy and teasing out over the next book's development time-period.

Ultimate Spoiler and Personal Analysis:
 I suspect in an alternate or potential future time Mac will morph into the Ultimate Female character/Queen that Barrons loved 10,000 years ago.  I'm also wondering how many times Mac & Barrons have had this romance looped through time.  I think the Nine plus the child were sent back in time, forced to forget and "reprogrammed" with certain "rules", ie, keep no woman longer than 2 weeks, and Lor's rule to "only bang blondes" when it's obvious he's going to fall hard for brunette Jo.    I also suspect Mac will be the mother of Barron's son,  the boy called Mac "Momma" before he changed. Also, this programming might account for Barron's internal fighting of most forms of informality or affection with Mac.  I'm hoping there is a solution outside this time-loop/space twist, as it'd be tragic for the characters to not ultimately have a happy ending.
